Religious Education Events, Workshops, and Trainings

The Mid-South District Religious Education Committee and the Mid-South Program Consultant (Connie Goodbread) offer a variety of trainings throughout the year and coordinate with leaders and institutions elsewhere to support religious education leaders and professionals in Mid-South congregations.

Workshops for religious education are offered at the Healthy Congregation Conference, at the Annual Assembly, and during a one-day annual event called the MSD RE Summit (last Saturday in January).

Trainings for the Our Whole Lives curriculum and “Renaissance Modules” are also offered in the district each year.

The district’s religious education professionals are also linked to LREDA, the Liberal Religious Educators Association.
