The Mid-South Congregation Presidents Convocation is held each June (first weekend or last weekend in May) and invites all incoming presidents for the coming church year. Attendees gather on Friday evening and depart by noon on Sunday. “Presidents Camp” is usually held at a retreat center in Alabama.
This event is a mixture of orientation, training, and networking. The ‘faculty’ is made up of district staff (District Exec and Program Consultant), the district UUA Trustee, and at least two folks from the district board (President and Minister Trustee).
