Unitarian Universalist Minister Rev. Marti Keller, UU Minister

Rev. Marti Keller has been serving congregations in the Mid-South District since 1998, currently as a minister for the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Atlanta, and including Georgia Mountains UU Church and the UU Church of Jackson, Mississippi. She has been a frequent guest in other pulpits, speaking on a range of spiritual, pastoral, and prophetic topics. In addition to parish ministry, she has been a community minister working with low-income and homeless women, children and families; and in the teaching ministry as an instructor in contextual theology and education at Candler School of Theology.
Marti served on the district TEACH and Religious Education Committees, as well as the district Board. She served for five years as the continuing education representative on the executive committee of the Southeast UU Ministers Association. Currently she is the president of Unitarian Universalists for Jewish Awareness (UUJA) and president elect for the UU Women’s Federation. Professionally, she has also been a reporter, editor, and cultural critic for daily and weekly publications; a social change legislative advocate and executive; and a published poet. Rev. Keller explores topics of everyday spirituality; prophetic witness; religious feminisms; and intra-religious teachings, especially Judaism. As per SEUUMA professional guidelines, $200 Sunday worship/sermon, plus travel/accommodations.
